Just sharing a small UX setup that’s been useful for me.
Some Codex CLI tasks can take several minutes (sometimes ~10 min on bigger prompts).
Instead of watching the terminal, I set up Apple Watch notifications using the built-in notify hook.
Now I can go grab a coffee and get a tap on my wrist when Codex finishes.

Repo with a minimal setup (Pushover → iPhone → Apple Watch):

Maybe useful as a small docs note or recipe.
