I’d like to request a UX feature (regression) in the Codex VS Code extension: bring back the per-turn collapsible “Working” section.
What changed
In a previous stable version, each assistant turn had a “Working” header that could be clicked to collapse all intermediate records (thinking/actions/tool logs) so only the clean final response remained visible. I used this constantly.
In recent versions, the process/log output appears always expanded (or no longer collapsible), making long tasks hard to read and forcing excessive scrolling.
