Unable to import as when importing lime.app.Event

I noticed when i tried importing lime.app.Event as a different name it wouldn't let me.

lime.app.Event is defined with one parameter as class Event<T>. It appears that the Haxe compiler wants you to add the parameter.

Whats weird is that it works with other generic classes, but not with lime.app.Event

and it doesnt work when adding it, since the haxe compiler only checks for identifiers during the import statement

Hmm... the error seems to come from EventMacro.

Looking into this a little, it seems that in Haxe 4, import as is fundamentally incompatible with generic builds. However, it seems to work in Haxe 5, so we can take another look then. https://try.haxe.org/#d3fAA2Ed

This seems to be the PR that fixes it in haxe 5: HaxeFoundation/haxe#11168. Updating to haxe 5 solves the original error with lime.app.Event from my testing. Is there anything else we do anything here? Seems like it's just a compiler issue.

It seems the reason that sample is fine is because it doesn't have @:generic. Adding that causes it to fail on haxe 4, albeit with a different error. On haxe 5 it works fine.
