QGIS recently changed their AI policy to a strict "NOT ALLOWED" policy. qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals#387
In contrast, LLM-generated code is very welcome in the RustGIS project! You don't need to be an experienced programmer to contribute. We encourage everyone, including those with little or no coding experience, to use LLMs to identify bugs, implement features, and submit pull requests.
We judge contributions by the quality of the code, not by who or what generated it. What matters is that the code works, is maintainable, and makes RustGIS better.
Everyone is welcome to contribute!
