I had to fix these in order to have the tests running
- "article" is not provided to sidebar_article_link from the hooks mechanism - if the article has no language (Article.language is blank=True and null=True), trying to translate it breaks badly

add some help text to the "linked articles" form (so I don't mess up who is who 😉 )
