Hi @timtebeek it seems like an interesting case. I thought about that pattern, and it's good to be explicit, but in my organization we treat unannotated parameters as non-null by default, so I didn't dwell on the matter much

I though as much; In this case I thought it odd to annotate a parameter as nullable on to blow up when actually null. I'm considering a follow up recipe that removes that @NonNull when the package is @NullMarked to clear these out, such that it removes the @Nullable and throw to achieve what you're after there.
