This is a fix for build issues on windows.

If this is fixed, how do I get my system upgraded with this fix? I'm still having problems after two weeks of trying.

you need to use the 64-bit version of msys2. Start the terminal with mingw64.exe.

Thanks! I finally got it to work. I did run with this, but I also used /C instead of C:/ ---I overlooked that the make can't handle the ':" colon in the configure path. After I changed this, everything worked!
