IRC is no longer accessible

I quit to update macOS, and when I tried to rejoin IRC, I got this:

Of course, I cannot verify my email address because I cannot connect to libera! It suggests using a different network to connect, but none I have tried has worked. So I'm locked out indefinitely. So is anyone else who has never registered "correctly" with libera. Guess they don't want new users.

The changed something on irc, and we were spammed with bots for a bit - then restored the setting. Not entirely sure what the process is now.

Sigh. That's why we cannot have nice things. Anyway, looks like the settings have been fixed; I'm reconnected.
