Loading location, via search, creates a flash

The redirection page is only briefly displayed, which:

• is useless
• creates a kind of ugly flash in the reader

We will continue to have a ugly flash until openzim/libzim#1001 is solved. But indeed currently this is a 1 sec flash which should be 0 sec (i.e. as short as the web view achieve to not display it).

I don't think openzim/libzim#1001 is the best solution to that problem, although it would work. What we need is suggestions pointing to URLs with fragments... and this could be done easily at suggestion Xapian index level... easily.

Regarding the flash, it seems the redirect page has an HTML body, why so? Does removing the body helps to reduce the flash effect?

The way I've expressed the need in this issue is indeed biased. Having the ability to add a suggestion in Xapian index which points to a URL with fragment is indeed sufficient to match the need and probably a bit more appropriate since it means it's the reader which will move to the URL with fragment, not the libzim (HTTP) response which will contain a fragment which is weird for a server response.

I'm quite sure it has minimal impact. And I feel it is way better to have something displayed and not have a blank page should the redirect take too long or not work at all. It also displays a nice link to the redirect target so that you can move to it manually if automatic redirect did not worked.
