How to disable the automatic creation of .serena directory

Hello.
I am running Serena in Claude code with the following command: start-mcp-server --context=claude-code --project-from-cwd

When I open a Claude code session from any directory, it automatically creates the .serena folder. This is a bit annoying as I end up with lots of .serena folders in directories where I don´t want to use it. Is there any way I can force serena to only initialize when I run onboarding command instead?

Yes. Do not use the option --project-from-cwd, which automatically creates a project based on the current working directory (cwd). Instead, use explicit project activation. See here: https://oraios.github.io/serena/02-usage/040_workflow.html#project-activation
