what's the project stance on LSP Enforcement Kit?

Does the project have an official stance on LSP Enforcement Kit that recommends Serena as one of two possible LSP backends?

1. is it recommended?
2. if one uses the kit, are there extra steps that should be taken when installing/configuring Serena? E.g. the default hooks then should likely be removed as they'd duplicate (or even collide with) those set up by the kit?
