A general question would be if the polite form should be used or a more direct one.

Difference would e.g. be:
Formal: "Laden Sie Karten herunter"
Familiar: "Lade Karten herunter"

Right now most parts are in the formal form.
However I would prefer the familiar one, as the users of OM are not customers.
They are way more on one level with the creators of the app.
