Blog page feature

Has anyone started using the Blog page feature? I just noticed it and wanted to gauge others' usage of it before using it myself.

Currently, I create an individual pages for each blog post and pages for grouping them together. The workflow is a little tedious but my main concern is creating so many new pages that it will become too cumbersome to keep up with minor website updates later on. I was also looking at maybe creating a campus website to house these pages as well to at least separate them from the main website. Looking into as many options as I can before migrating.

I did test out the Blog page feature but ran into some snags.

• The image upload doesn't look good on all pages as the max width seems to be changed based on screen size so the image get cut off as the max height isn't proportional. It looks good on mobile, so-so on tablet, and bad on desktop.
• There doesn't seem to be a way to to group the posts together in a series or by ministry. I currently have 2 series and 1 ministry but there is potential for another ministry to start a blog post and it would be ideal to have separate spaces for these.
• I couldn't find a way to add an author to a post. This is something that would be useful.

@csafarjr All good points. It's definitely a v1 release and could use some improvements. I'll work on it today and see if I can address each of these items

Have a look now and see what you think. I set the aspect ratio on the images to 16:9 to keep the layouts consistent. You can group posts into categories (and include tags). There's a author field. And the layout of posts is much cleaner.

It is looking great. I am having a hard time finding the author field though. Where should that be located?

You may have to force a refresh in your browser to get the scrollbar on the modal. It's near the bottom.

Just wanted to update and say that this feature has been working very well for me. Thanks again for all of the work that gets done in these apps.
