Ideas for engineering project

Hello. I am an electrical engineering student in England, and I receive large grants of money each year during my degree as part of a scholarship.

I wish to use my money to create an effective, impactful engineering project centred around climate change and environmentalism, but I don't have any ideas about what to create or which problems within climate change would be the most crucial to address.

Could someone please give some advice or suggestions about what projects I could make to have this impact?

IMO As a student you are probably more likely to be successful if you spend your time/ resources contributing to the work of an established organization
