Description of issue

I am using macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 (Intel), and I've installed brew's binutils via brew install binutils.

I wrote a simple "Hello World" program in C.

#include <stdio.h>

int main(void)
{
	printf("Hello World\n");
	return 0;
}

I built this program:

clang hello.c -o hello -Wall

Then I ran the program:

% ./hello
Hello World

Everything worked just fine.

Then I ran the strip command from brew's binutils via brew install binutils:

strip ./hello

Then I ran the program again:

% ./hello
zsh: killed     ./hello

It crashed!
