Hi @muien5080 , Nice to meet you. Take a look at our instructions for applicants https://jderobot.github.io/activities/gsoc/2026#application-instructions-for-gsoc-2026. I suggest you can develop a initial robotics/ComputerVision application using VisualCircuit, as JdeRobot/VisualCircuit#412 (comment) |

Hi @jmplaza , I have successfully submitted my final proposal for Project #6: VisualCircuit on the GSoC portal. It includes my full 12-week roadmap, block contribution infrastructure plan, and the technical demo video. I'm genuinely excited about the possibility of contributing to VisualCircuit this summer and look forward to hearing your thoughts. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, advice or feedback! GitHub: https://github.com/vsharma3119-ux |

Hi @jmplaza, while I was finishing up my exams, I spent some time performing a technical audit of the live documentation site. I identified a broken relative link in the 'Follow' button and a FontAwesome 403 error. I've documented the root causes and proposed fixes in #453 ( JdeRobot/VisualCircuit#453 ) . I’m very happy to submit a PR for these if you'd like me to handle them! |

My name is Mohammed Muien, and I am a first-year BSc student in Computer Science and Electronics from Bangalore, India. I have experience with Python and Git/GitHub, and I have contributed to open-source projects before (for example, my PR to the malaria-gen project was merged).
I am very interested in GSoC 2026 Project #6: VisualCircuit – Improving Functionality & Expanding the Block Library. I have cloned the repository, explored the documentation, and successfully ran a simple example circuit on my machine.
I am eager to start contributing and would appreciate guidance on small tasks or “good first issues” that I can begin working on. I am also excited to learn more about VisualCircuit and its ecosystem.
You can find my GitHub profile here: @muien5080
Looking forward to your advice and feedback!
Thank you,
Mohammed Muien
