Android/Endeavour Moonlight cannot find Sunshine on Endevaor unless firewall is turned off, no matter of port configs

Hello, this is making no sense.
I run default ports and entering them as listed in the webui into the firewall page on KDE System Settings doesn't make the host discoverable to Moonlight Android.

However, if i disable the firewall, then the host is found automatically and i can actually connect.

What's missing?

Never heard of mdns before and adding it makes no difference.

Well, that's where discovery happens.

Make sure you use UDP not TCP.

UDP port 5353

Probably needs incoming and outgoing, though I am not 100% sure on that.

mdns preset is tcp. Adding it manually as UDP didn't change anything. Even after rebooting both sides, the result is the same.

Update:
I have a freshly installed copy of Endeavor on a laptop and my phone can connect to it with the firewall enabled (after setting up some rules)

BUT I can't get the desktop (old install date, but recently updated) to find the laptop despite running similar firewall rules, same distro.
Vice versa does not work either.

Apparently, it's a problem in kde settings.

The fix:

1. install https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/firewall-config/
2. use this gui tool and make the rules again
