Lilygo T-FPGA maybe another choice?

Lilygo T-FPGA has hard core S3 and Gowin GW1NSR-4C with m3 hard core and 4k luts.

4k luts is not sufficient for any retro core I know. Something like a zx81 may be possible ... but probably not.
