I don't see a public MenuBar::isShowing() state getter in the current MenuBar API. The supported surface does expose shown/hidden events, though. For a shortcut toggle I'd keep a small application-side boolean and update it from MenuBarShown / MenuBarHidden, then have the shortcut call show or hide based on that state. That also avoids trying to infer visibility from whether the menu bar object exists. |

I want to be able to toggle my menubar using a shortcut, which means I need to be able to detect if the menubar is open. I expected to be able to do something like
MenuBar::isShowing()to know exactly what I should I should do, but I can't figure out how it's done.All reactions
