I am sharing feedback as a first time user with zero context about air rights or SkyTrade.
First impression and login screen.
The login screen is clean and professional. “Get Started” with Google login is familiar and low friction. This part works well. The cookie banner placement is fine and does not block the main action. No major issues here.
Recommended onboarding flow (high level)
Issues needs to fix
Address claiming should be restricted to the address verified during KYC, not any random physical property entered by the user.
This is the first real problem area. The role choices look polished, but they are concept heavy. A new user does not yet know what “air rights” really means, so asking them to choose between Trader or Investor, Property or Air Right Owner, Drone Operator, or Reward Builder is premature. The descriptions explain what each role does, but not why the user should pick one now. The “Skip” option suggests this step may not matter, which weakens trust in the onboarding logic. Either make this optional and clearly reversible, or delay it until after the first successful action.
Right now, the flow feels like this:
Register > Add details (Phone, Status, referral code) >Choose role > Register your are rights (KYC, Deposit Funds, Trade Air Rights) > Register Air rights > Name of air rights, APN (Assessor Parcel Number) > Rental Details > Pay 1USDC/ Pay Later/Pay in SKY0 and get 10% discount >
I suggest this instead:
Register > Add details (Phone, Status, referral code) >Choose role and add quick concept explanation > Register your are rights (KYC, Deposit Funds, Trade Air Rights) > Register Address Air rights > Name of air rights, APN (Assessor Parcel Number) > Rental Details > Confirmation (Pay 1USDC/ Pay Later/Pay in SKY0 and get 10% discount) + what this means > Optional earnings setup
The key idea is simple. First action should feel safe, reversible, and educational.
Dashboard checklist (reorder and rename)
Current checklist pushes KYC and deposits too early.
Suggested order and copy:
Register Air Rights
Rental settings introduce pricing and features too early. At this point, the user still does not fully understand demand, units, or how earnings work. Asking for a fee range per transit without showing examples or market context forces guessing. The extra feature checkboxes like landing deck or charging station sound futuristic but unclear. Users will not know what to select, so they either skip or choose randomly.
Payment modal
This is the biggest friction point. The modal appears immediately after registration and asks for payment to “unlock earnings.” The language is legal and defensive. Words like “non refundable” and “administrative costs” trigger caution. The “Pay Later” option helps, but the timing still feels aggressive. Users have not seen earnings, demand, or proof that anyone is paying for these air rights yet.
Add Pricing explanation:
“This is the price drone operators may pay to pass through your airspace. You can change this anytime.”
Instead of a wide range selector, start with presets like:
Wallet Section
Insights (map with highest value air rights)
Valuator
Buy Air Rights (Marketplace)
Points Program
The overall UI quality is strong and consistent. The product feels real and well built. The main issues are sequencing and explanation. The app asks users to commit mentally and financially before they fully understand what they are committing to. This increases drop off and doubt.
The biggest opportunity is to slow down the flow. Let users claim an address, show what that claim means, show simulated demand or examples, and only then introduce pricing, payments, and rewards.
