v1.10.367-Windows: doesn't update previous install / OpenAI acting as if not paid

Hi!
I d/l and installed the latest build but after clicking the exe in the unzipped folder it just runs as is from the unzipped folder. Doesn't update the previous install in it's custom folder. So now I have 2 versions installed. In order to keep my configuration i'm not touching any files for now.

Besides that, I get a "quota exceded-update billing" error using OpenAI, just paid an upgrade one day ago. Not sure what's going on. Maybe it's me, maybe not. Outside Supervertaler it's delivering.

Both of these are worth unpacking separately.

The two folders — that's expected, and your configuration is safe. Supervertaler for Windows ships as a portable ZIP; there's no installer, so a new build never touches the old folder. But nothing you care about is stored inside the app folder: your settings, API keys, prompt library, TMs and termbases all live in your data folder (by default C:\Users\<you>\Supervertaler_Data), and the path is recorded in C:\Users\<you>\.supervertaler_config.json. Both copies already read from that same place, which is why the new one picked up your setup.

So the update procedure is simply: close Supervertaler, delete the old extracted folder, keep the new one. If you had a Start Menu shortcut, re-run Add Supervertaler to Start Menu.cmd in the new folder to re-point it. Nothing is lost. This has now been added to README_FIRST.txt for the next build — it should have been there all along.

The OpenAI error is coming from OpenAI, not from Supervertaler — we pass their message through unchanged. "You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details" means the API side of your account has no usable balance. Three things to check:

1. Did you upgrade ChatGPT Plus? That's a separate product from API credits — a Plus subscription buys you nothing on the API. API billing is at platform.openai.com/settings/organization/billing.
2. If your key starts with sk-proj-, it's scoped to one project, and projects have their own spend limit that can sit at $0 even when the org has credit. Check platform.openai.com/settings/organization/projects → your project → Limits.
3. Prepaid credits expire after a year — worth confirming the balance is actually live.

If all three check out, paste the full error text from the Supervertaler log and we'll take another look.
