Unable to hand in my .tar file due to server timeout

I want to hand in my ~7gb baseline .tar file on the test server but after 10 minutes the server returns an internal server error. I presume it is due to taking too long for the file to upload.

If this is indeed the case can the server timeout be increased slightly? I imagine 20 min would be enough. Or is there something I am missing about the hand in process?

It was a memory issue on the server, we've managed to clean up most of the storage, so shouldn't be a problem anymore.
