Build the Public Economic Data Commons

Companies, public agencies, data providers, researchers, educators, workforce organizations, community groups, and independent builders are invited to show how one bounded product, interface, dataset, methodology, skill, role-transition need, or training pathway could strengthen interoperable public infrastructure for a digital-asset edge economy.

The goal is not to place every service inside one proprietary platform. It is to define open interfaces, evidence requirements, and governance boundaries that let independently operated products and providers contribute without capturing the commons.

Six ways to contribute

1. Infrastructure and interoperability providers — identity, credentials, storage, compute, networking, wallets, payments, ledgers, APIs, security, privacy, zero-knowledge, and replaceable adapters.
2. Economic data and index methodology — data sources, classifications, statistical methods, sampling, aggregation, price discovery, revisions, uncertainty, and new measures of productive or community value.
3. Products and public-interest use cases — applications and pilots for people, businesses, institutions, communities, and public agencies.
4. Workforce and capability pathways — public-safe expertise summaries, contribution interests, changing roles, skills people want to demonstrate, and training needs.
5. Training and curriculum — courses, mentoring, assessment, simulations, apprenticeships, and role-transition pathways.
6. Independent assurance and governance — legal, security, privacy, accessibility, conformance, audit, public-interest, and anti-capture review.

Companies and providers: introduce a bounded proposal

Please include only information that is safe and authorized to disclose:

• organization and public contact;
• product, service, dataset, methodology, or capability;
• contribution track and L0–L8/ZK layer or interface;
• public problem and affected users;
• proposed open interface, artifact, test, or pilot;
• current maturity and evidence available for review;
• standards, licenses, data rights, security controls, portability, and provider substitution;
• privacy, legal, accessibility, market-integrity, and governance risks; and
• commercial interests, requested relationship, and what would remain proprietary.

A provider does not need to support the full stack. Start with the smallest useful interface and explain how another conforming provider could be substituted.

People: share expertise and learning needs safely

You do not need to publish a conventional CV or activate an M5 account. You may share a short professional or lived-experience summary, the skills you choose to disclose, optional public work-sample links, the problem you want to help solve, skills you want to learn or teach, how your role is changing, and the smallest contribution you can make now.

Do not post a private CV, home address, identity document, private member or employment record, protected characteristics, wallet information, credentials, or confidential evidence. M5-CV is intended to be holder-selected capability evidence—not a public resume database or an automated human-worth score.

Economic-data safeguards

Index, indicator, statistic, and data-feed proposals should make provenance, rights, privacy, methodology, coverage, bias, uncertainty, revisions, conflicts, governance, and interoperability reviewable. Commercial contributors must disclose relevant interests. Sponsorship, market position, or data access cannot purchase standards control or preferential methodological treatment.

Status boundary: This is a public participation invitation, not an adopted standard, operating index, official statistic, regulated benchmark, procurement request, job posting, certification program, partnership, or endorsement. Training interest, a suggested match, or a contribution does not create employment, compensation, appointment, a credential, professional authority, or admission to a program.

When posting, name one contribution mode and the exact SOPHIA track that fits best. Cross-disciplinary proposals may reference more than one track, and people remain free to propose roles or tracks that the current public-review taxonomy does not yet represent.
