Safe agents require more than model builders. The public SOPHIA registry provides 37 tracks spanning finance, data, software, infrastructure, security, identity, health, workforce, learning, governance, law, public sector, trade, communications, and M5 operations.

A participant may approach an agent role as something they perform today, are learning toward, can demonstrate, can teach, can mentor/review, or may offer as a service. A role label or M5-CV claim never activates operational authority by itself.

Contribution groups

• Agent and workflow design — bounded tasks, handoffs, exceptions, and human approval points.
• Identity and authorization — principals, credentials, delegation, revocation, and M5Canon policy.
• Graph and knowledge — provenance, memory, ontology, retrieval, and privacy-filtered proofs.
• Security and assurance — threat models, red teams, conformance, audit, incident response, and recovery.
• Communications and accessibility — notice, translation, inclusive UX, explanation, and correction.
• Legal and jurisdiction — authoritative sources, professional roles, due process, and escalation.
• Economic and domain expertise — finance, accounting, assets, title, supply chains, health, government, and other high-context fields.
• Training and activation — curriculum, demonstrations, assessments, instructors, mentors, and operator playbooks.
