Voxis Live is a real-time voice translation app for Windows. It listens to your PC's system audio — a video, a game, or a call — streams it to a simultaneous speech-to-speech translation model, and plays the translation back in your language while the person is still speaking, a few seconds behind, the way a human interpreter works.

This post is the starting point for the repository. If you're new here, read this first.

What Voxis Live does

• Translates any Windows audio, not just one browser tab. It reads the Windows system mix directly, so it works on native games, desktop Zoom/Teams/Discord calls, and any local video player — anything your PC plays.
• Speaks the translation out loud, live. It uses gemini-3.5-live-translate-preview, a native simultaneous speech-to-speech model — audio goes in, translated audio comes out, with no visible transcribe→translate→speak chain.
• Two modes:
  • Video / Game — one-way: the original is ducked while the translation speaks.
  • Meeting — two-way: you hear the other person in your language, and your voice goes out translated through a virtual microphone.
• Saves and exports sessions as TXT / SRT / VTT (bilingual captions), with searchable in-app history.
