If a clone still prints that line, Git itself is being started with http disabled. In the same environment Weblate uses: Plain http does not encrypt the clone. That is fine for a Gitea on your own network, and a bad idea for anything else. HTTPS or SSH avoids this setting entirely. |

I need to be able to connect to my local gitea repo as http not https. I tried:
VCS_ALLOW_SCHEMES = ["http"]I also tried:
VCS_ALLOW_SCHEMES = ["http","https","ssh"]but it still tells me I cannot connect using http.
Could not update repository: Cloning into '...'... fatal: transport 'http' not allowed (128)
I can git clone it using that (http) URL from the command line.
