I'm Vadym, the founder of Solar DePIN. We are bridging renewable energy with high-performance computing to power the green AI revolution, and we are looking for strategic partners in the Akash ecosystem to scale our physical infrastructure.

🛠️ Hardware R&D: Our Proprietary Solar DePIN Nodes

Beyond running standard servers, we are actively designing and developing our own custom physical GPU nodes optimized specifically for solar energy integration.

• The Prototype: We are currently in the final stages of assembling our first physical node prototype, which will be ready very soon.
• Solar-Aware Hardware: These nodes are being engineered to communicate directly with solar inverters, dynamically managing power consumption and scaling performance based on real-time green energy generation.

Should there not be a guide on how you'll be doing this? otherwise it's pretty vague right now?

Solar Power isn't enough to run GPUs. You should include "how" ?

Hi Arnav, thanks for the great question!

Here is how we ensure 24/7 uninterrupted GPU operations alongside our solar setup:

1. Hybrid Power Architecture: Our 30kW solar system is integrated with a grid/battery backup system via hybrid inverters. Solar power serves as the primary green energy source during generation hours to offset carbon emissions and operational costs.
2. Distributed Global Network (Planned): Our long-term roadmap includes scaling a geographically distributed network across different time zones. Once deployed, when it's nighttime for a node in one region, nodes in other parts of the world (like "Vasyl's node") will experience peak daylight and maximum solar generation.
3. Automated Load Balancing: We use automated inverter tracking (via Modbus protocol) to dynamically direct peak solar yield toward heavy AI model inference/GPU workloads.
4. Fallback Mechanism: When local solar generation drops and no other solar node is available, individual systems seamlessly transition to grid/battery storage, ensuring 99.9% uptime for Akash Network provider nodes.
