• Currently refining main VisionPilot loop.

• Introduced ROS2 switch so VisionPilot is independent from ROS builds.

Robust Photorealistic Scene Converter

• Objective
  • Develop a lightweight, fast video style transfer pipeline to convert CARLA simulator images into images resembling the Waymo Open Dataset.
• Key Requirements
  • Runs on modest GPUs
  • Achieves ≥10 FPS at 256 × 512 resolution
  • Preserves semantic consistency (e.g., cars remain cars)
  • Produces high-quality photorealistic results

We discussed about:

1. The current gap between the frontier development of VisionPilot and the Safety Assurance-related compliances.
   • After release, VisionPilot will/should switch its focus to comprehensive testing/benchmarking against safety assurances and compliances.
2. The current progress of Safety Assurance and what we could help expediting it.
3. The possibility of utilizing current progress/development from Robotaxi's E2E research works to VisionPilot, and wise versa.
4. Some ideas on how to align VisionPilot's swift development and Safety Assurance's rigid, well-define safety qualifications.
   • For now maybe @TranHuuNhatHuy and @ZaynabEM will kinda relay the progress between 2 WGs every week cycle.
   • Better off have a way to overcome our tremendous timezone difference and allow us to synch more effectively rather than human relays. Maybe a well-aligned meeting note shall help.
