Sprint 1 Retrospective: KickOff

Establishing baseline habits and workflow

[dokilax]

START

things we should begin doing

[xidxnx]

We should start by agreeing on a consistent project structure and coding conventions so everyone follows the same format when adding new features.

[khujista-01]

We should start being proactive on Discord and during the meetings, as well as start volunteering for tasks.

[SaraH6734]

start by making sure we have a clear understanding of the features we’re going to implement before we start working on them to avoid misundarstandings and rework.

[HersheyWaffle]

Start by being as clear as possible in everything we do, from communication to task management, so there is no room for error or disconnect between ideas.

[Steven01231]

We should start making more code-based issues and assigning to people considering their expertise such as frontend and backend

[dokilax]

STOP

avoid doing this

[yas176]

Please avoid:

• Waiting to be asked before taking on tasks
• Staying silent during meetings, so others can't tell if you agree or are stuck

[nicoledesigns]

Avoid not asking questions to the team when there are things to clarify.

[HersheyWaffle]

Avoid long gaps in communication, there should be consistent dialogue even if there is no progress to report.

[dokilax]

CONTINUE

This works, keep it up!

[khujista-01]

i agree with all the points. keep giving updates, consistent meetings, asking for help and communicating.

[SaraH6734]

Keep having weekly meetings and giving updates.

[owjorgen]

Continue asking for clarification and help with tasks if needed

[HersheyWaffle]

Continue including everyone to make sure we are all busy

[Steven01231]

Continue doing detailed meeting minutes so that colleagues who can't join can catch up and know the discussions.

[dokilax]

ACTION ITEMS

[dokilax]

high risk : perform POC for AI transcription, grounding/follow up task creation. Feasible to run local, hardware requirements?

[yas176]

ACTION ITEMS

PLEASE:

• Let the team know ahead of time if you can't make a meeting, even a quick message with the reason and if the meeting time is not working for you please mention it !
• Pick up tasks when you have capacity, and say so in the chat if you're not sure what's open
• Share your thoughts or questions during meetings, even briefly, communicate and interact with the team (:
• Post short progress updates so everyone knows where things stand (use Updates channel on discord)

[xidxnx]

If you're struggling with a task, ask your teammates for help early so the project doesn't get stuck or fall behind schedule.
