I wasnt exactly sure where to post this issue, so im hoping this will be the place. I have made a huge mistake by running the git rm --cache command on a project that was holding a huge number of untracked files. I am unsure on how to procede, so as to fix my repository without making it worse. Should i run a git reset ot a previous, working commit? will the fact that the files were previously untracked be a hindrance? Any help is appreciated, thank you.
