We need this so badly - how is it possible in the UI but not via GitHub Rest/GraphQL API?! see meta issue: https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/186495 |

I'd like to automatically connect pull_requests to my Github Issues on my Projects board. Many of my pull_requests are into my
develop(non-default) branch, therefore I cannot use comment/description-based linking. I already have an action that finds the Issue related to the PR by title, and carries over the labels and milestone, but I cannot connect the PR to the issue. Is there a way to accomplish this programmatically? All reactions
