Hello !
I had a question with Copilot,

Sometimes, when i use Copilot and i open and close a workspace, my chat (copilots edits and chat history) disappears/is erased. Is there a way to save the history and re-load it ?

Hi! This issue can occur if Copilot’s session handling doesn’t persist when a workspace is closed. To resolve this:

Enable Session Persistence (if available): Check Copilot or the IDE settings for options to save chat history across sessions.
Use External Note-Taking: Copy important chat snippets or session insights to an external tool for longer retention.
Check for Updates: Ensure your Copilot and IDE versions are up to date, as newer versions might address this limitation.
Feature Request: If not already available, suggest adding a “Save and Load Chat History” feature to GitHub’s Copilot team for consideration.

The "Persistent sessions" option is already active on my Visual Studio code. The proposal to the github copilot team is a good idea, you know how i can check and make the request ?

How to move the .specstory/history to another directory and let vscode still able to display the history in chat history to continue this conversation?
