I'm having this issue too. Did you find a solution to it? |

I solved it for myself. It's clear that the budget manager is buggy. It does seem that your "changes are not registering" |

I have been receiving the following error message when attempting to clone repos from Github.
"This repository exceeded its LFS budget. The account responsible for the budget should increase it to restore access."
I have followed guidance and increased my LFS budget on my account to $50 (much more than I need) and unchecked the option to stop usage when budget limit is reached. However I am still met with the same error, and it has been over 12 hours since I added payment information and increased the budget on my account for LFS.
I have a free Github account
I have since tried increasing budgets for all other usage types which also did not help.
I feel this is perhaps just a bug in the system that my changes are not registering, but any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
