Why no billing has occurred after assigning 7 seats to Copilot for Business (since Sep 1, 2025)?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to ask about the billing timing for GitHub Copilot for Business.

• On Sep 1, 2025 around 13:00 JST, I assigned 7 seats to our organization.
• As of Oct 31, 2025 9:00 JST, no billing has been issued yet.
• Our organization’s base plan is Free, and the contract type is individual (not via Azure).
• None of the assigned users had ever used Copilot before, so I believe the 30-day free trial might have been applied automatically.

However, since it has already been nearly two months since the seat assignment,
I’d like to confirm:

1. Whether the free trial period is the reason billing hasn’t occurred yet.
2. Or if there might be any issue or delay in the billing process for organization seats.

Could someone clarify how Copilot billing works in this case?
