Allow GitHub Copilot (Pro/Business) subscribers to use Copilot as a callable API
via token-based authentication, enabling integration into non-IDE applications.

Use Case:

• Roblox Studio development (AI-assisted game scripting)
• WooCommerce admin dashboard (AI-assisted copy, product management, automation)
• Internal tools and custom applications where VS Code/JetBrains aren't available

Current Problem:
Copilot is only available in VS Code and JetBrains IDEs. Users who want AI assistance
in other applications must:

1. Switch to a different AI service (OpenAI, Anthropic separately, etc.)
2. Pay for multiple subscriptions for inferior models
3. Lose continuity with Copilot's training and capabilities

Why This Matters:

• Copilot subscribers are already paying for access
• Many professional tools (Roblox Studio, WordPress admin, game engines) don't have IDE integration
• A simple API (REST or WebSocket) would unlock massive productivity gains
• Authentication via GitHub token makes it secure and scalable

Proposed Solution:

• Expose Copilot via REST API with GitHub token authentication
• Pricing: Include in existing Copilot Pro subscription (or Pro+ tier)
• Rate limits: Per-token tracking to prevent abuse
• Support chat completion, code generation, and context-aware suggestions

Example Use Cases:

1. WooCommerce plugin that generates product descriptions via Copilot
2. Roblox Studio script generator for boilerplate code
3. Custom WordPress admin tools with AI-assisted content creation
4. Internal business tools with integrated AI assistance

This would eliminate the need for developers to juggle multiple AI subscriptions.
