Github Pages of a private repo disabled despite being a public page

I have a private repository and I have previously published it with no issues. I have Github Pro via an educational account hence I am able to publish a public Github pages.

Recently, I noticed, that all pages of my private repos are disabled. The reasoning is that somehow the pages is set to be private and because I don't have an enterprise cloud account they disabled it. However, when I check the settings, the page is already a public page, and there is no way to re-enable to page.

Thanks for the details. We’ve seen cases where a GitHub Pages site can’t be modified or re-enabled even though it’s set to public.

The quickest way to resolve this is to reset the Pages configuration: disable GitHub Pages in Settings → Pages, save the changes, and then re-enable it as Public. This recreates the site and usually resolves the issue.
