hello this issue is pretty stupid for nor reasons it dose show me this cause I removed my payment method and I won't add it again and also appeared when I tried to Enable github copliot free trial!!!

Also it dose say "Invalid payment method - authorization hold failed." which I don't have any payment method at all I already removed it, and no Estimate time for that to go

At least removing the instrument successfully blocks billing.

This looks like the Copilot Pro trial flow asking for a payment method, not a direct Education charge.
GitHub’s docs say the Pro trial requires adding a payment method, but verified students can get Copilot for free through GitHub Education benefits instead.

If you already have GitHub Education, try activating Copilot from Settings → Education benefits rather than starting the free trial flow.

If the Education path is still asking for billing after verification, then that does sound like a bug.

And also when do I try to add "Attempt_Exceed_Limitation - Attempt exceed the limitation, refresh page to try again." and invaild method which I don't want add any payment method also its eduaction benfits and I tried to get github copilot 30 day free trial and suddenly all that happened in the same day lol

And it dose also say "Your trial of Copilot has ended. Please purchase to continue to use Copilot." lol which I didn't use it at all or tried to, and my account also is locked

And when I tried to change the billing information right now, it dose says

"Sorry, you can't update your billing information at this time
There appears to be an issue with the billing information. We're looking into it and will send you an update within 48 hours. Thank you for your patience."
