Stuck on “Getting location” and no upload option, cannot apply

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack, but I’m completely blocked.

On my PC, verification is stuck on “Getting location…” and never continues.
On my iPhone, the document upload option does not appear, so I can’t submit proof.

This prevents me from completing the application at all.

Is there any workaround or way to manually verify?

Hello,

I am experiencing the same issue. My GitHub Student Developer Pack application is stuck on “Getting location...” and never proceeds to the next step.

I have already enabled location services and desktop app location access in Windows, and I have allowed location access for GitHub in Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I also tried Incognito/InPrivate mode and a different network/mobile hotspot, but the issue remains.

My school is University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya.

Could you please advise how I can proceed with the application or complete verification?
