I was charged $10 USD for a GitHub Copilot Pro subscription on April 21, 2026
(Transaction ID: 1AQRFOEL), but I have never received access to Copilot Pro models.
My account still shows "Copilot Free" as the active subscription. I have waited over
30 days without a response from GitHub Support.

What I Expected

After successful payment, my subscription should have been upgraded to Copilot Pro,
granting me access to Copilot models (Claude 3.5 Sonnet, GPT-4o, etc.).

What's Actually Happening

1. Payment was successfully charged on April 21, 2026
2. My account subscription remains "Copilot Free"
3. I cannot access any Copilot Pro models
4. Support ticket filed on May 1, 2026 has received no response after 30+ days

Additional Context

I note that GitHub announced a temporary pause on new Copilot signups beginning
April 20, 2026. My payment was processed on April 21, 2026—one day after the pause.
This may explain the service activation issue, but I still deserve:

• Clear communication about my subscription status
• Either immediate service activation OR a full refund
• A response to my support ticket

Request

Please urgently:

1. Investigate why my payment went through during the signup pause period
2. Either activate my Copilot Pro subscription or process a full refund ($10.00)
3. Respond to my support ticket from May 1, 2026 with a resolution timeline

I have been a GitHub user and appreciate the platform. I simply need this billing
issue resolved and a proper explanation of what happened.

Keep it short: "Charged $10 for Copilot Pro on April 21, but account is stuck on 'Free' due to your April 20 signup pause. Support ticket open 32+ days with no reply. Transaction ID: 1AQRFOEL. Please help!"

2. Keep Pushing the Community Forum
   You already posted in the GitHub Community Discussion. Reply to your own thread if a couple of days pass without an official answer. Community managers monitor these forums and can directly bump your ticket to the billing team.

3. The Nuclear Option: Call Your Bank
   If you try social media and still hear nothing within a few days, call the bank for your Visa ending in 6009.

Tell them you want to dispute a charge for "Services Not Received."

They will force the $10.00 back into your account.

Still waiting for resolution on this billing issue (40+ days since initial ticket on May 1, 2026).
Payment charged successfully on April 21, 2026 (Transaction ID: 1AQRFOEL, $10.00 USD) but Copilot Pro
