Unable to connect to GitHub Codespaces

Hello GitHub Support,

I am experiencing an issue with GitHub Codespaces.

Previously, my Codespace was working normally, but now I am unable to connect to it. The connection attempt either fails or gets stuck during startup, preventing me from accessing my development environment.

What I have already tried:

Reloading the browser
Restarting the Codespace
Creating a new browser session
Checking my internet connection
Waiting and trying again later

The issue persists.

hey Sergey 👋.

you've already tried the basic stuff ,,, a few more things worth trying specifically for a stuck / failing codespace connection :

• delete and recreate the codespace,,,go to github.com/codespaces, find "super-duper-robot", click the ... menu -> Delete. then create a fresh one from the repo.codespaces are ephemeral by design, your code is in the repo so nothing is lost .
• check github status at githubstatus.com ,,,if codespaces shows any incident or degraded performance around 11:29 GMT+5 today, this might be a platform-wide issue, not specific to your account.
• try VS Code desktop instead of the browser,, installl the GitHub Codespaces extension, sign in, and open the codespace from there. sometimes browser-based connections fail when the VS Code desktop client works fine for the same codespace.
• try a different browser,,,,specifically Chrome or Edge if you havent already, since codespacess browser client has best support there,
• if the codespace is stuck on "Starting"(not just failing),there may be a broken devcontainer.json or startup script in the repo that's hanging ,,, deleting and recreating without a devcontainer (if you have one)can confirm this.

just so you know,,,,,,community members here(including me)cant access your specific codespace or account backend,,, only github support can investigate that directly .if the above doesnt help,support.github.comwith your codespace name and the exact timestamp is the right path.

hope deleting and recreating sorts it,,,,,,that fixes most stuck codespace issues since the VM itself can get into a bad state that a restart cant fix. good luck❤️❤️❤️❤️.
