I use a mobile, I use GitHub on chrome browser.
I am trying to change my username, how can I do it?

To change your GitHub username on mobile Chrome:

Open and sign in to GitHub
Tap your profile picture (top-right).
Tap Settings.
In the Settings menu, tap Account.
Find Change username (or Username).
Enter your new username.
GitHub will check if it's available.
Confirm the change.

Hi,

You can change your GitHub username from your account settings.

Steps:

1. Sign in to GitHub.
2. Tap your profile picture and open Settings.
3. Go to Account.
4. Find the Change username option.
5. Enter your new username and follow the prompts.

A few things to keep in mind:

• Your old profile URL will usually redirect to your new username.
• Repository URLs are generally redirected as well, but you should update any external links when possible.
• The new username must be available and follow GitHub's username rules.

If you're having trouble finding the option on mobile Chrome, try enabling Desktop Site in your browser and then open the Settings page again.
