Education Benefits Facult Application rejected for name mismatch, despite names matching

Hi everyone,

My application for education benefits as faculty has been rejected with the stated reason that the first and last names on the documentation do not match my billing profile or user profile, but I have double checked that they do match. There does not seem to be anywhere else for recourse. I have tried on multiple devices, and logged out and back in again multiple times.

Hi, this usually happens when the verification system compares the name format very strictly. Even small differences like middle name, initials, spacing, capitalization, order of first/last name, or special characters can cause rejection.

You can try these steps:

1. Make sure your profile name, billing name, and document name are written in the exact same format.
2. Remove or add your middle name/initial if it appears differently on the document.
3. Check whether your first name and last name are reversed.
4. Upload a clearer document where the full name is visible.
5. Contact support and request manual verification, attaching screenshots of your profile, billing details, and document name.

If everything already matches exactly, then it is most likely a system-side verification issue and should be escalated to support for manual review.

In addition to my name that appeared on the document exactly as it is in the billing information and profile, an administrator's name appeared, and by removing that I was able to get the documentation accepted.
