Hi @hawkingrei , This community is managed by GitHub employees, but it is not a support forum. The only place to go for answers to account-specific questions like this one is opening a ticket on our Support page. This is a public forum, and the community is unable to assist with nor escalate your ticket, but we can assure you it is in the right place. There are an extremely high volume of Support tickets right now, yours will be answered in the order it was received based on the amount of tickets ahead of yours. Please open only one ticket per request. As no other Community Discussions team members will be able to provide additional help with account related questions I am going to close this discussion. We appreciate your understanding and patience while Support works through your request! |

Hi GitHub Support,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing to report an issue with my contributor ranking for the repository
pingcap/tidb.Background:
I was previously the #1 top contributor to the
pingcap/tidbrepository (https://github.com/pingcap/tidb/graphs/contributors?all=1) under the usernamehawkingrei. However, when I left my previous employer, I removed my company email address from my GitHub account. At that time, I noticed that I disappeared from the repository's contributor rankings entirely. What I've done:
I have since re-added the same email address back to my GitHub account's email settings.
Current issue:
Despite re-adding the email address, my contributor ranking on the
pingcap/tidbrepository has not been restored. My contributions are still not reflected in the contributors list.Request:
Could you please help investigate why my contributions are not being re-associated with my account, even though the email has been added back? This is quite important to me, as it represents a significant part of my open source contribution history.
Please let me know if you need any additional information from my side to help resolve this.
Thank you for your time and assistance!
Best regards,
hawkingrei
