What are you trying to do?
Trying to get my earned achievements (Quickdraw and Pull Shark) to show on my profile.

What did you expect to happen?
Since I received the "You unlocked new Achievements on GitHub!" banner on my profile, I expected the Achievements section to appear with the earned badges.

What happened instead?

• My achievements tab (github.com/aryansinghal563?tab=achievements) returns a 404 error
• No Achievements section appears anywhere on my profile page
• This is despite "Include private contributions" and "Show Achievements on my profile" both being enabled

Qualifying activity:

1. Quickdraw - PR opened and merged within 23 seconds: docs: add CHANGELOG.md and normalize versioned identifiers aryansinghal563/vivaldi-media-player#1 (created_at: 2026-07-06T07:36:26Z, merged_at: 2026-07-06T07:36:49Z)
2. Pull Shark - 2 merged PRs: the above, plus fix: correct maxHeight to kebab-case max-height in dialog-content style PaRr0tBoY/Awesome-Vivaldi#64 (merged into another user's repo)

Troubleshooting already done:

• Toggled achievements setting off and back on
• Tried incognito, hard refresh, different browsers, full sign out/sign in
• Achievements tab consistently returns 404

Since browser side fixes (incognito, clearing cache, toggling settings) didn't force a re-index, you will need to flag this to GitHub Support to trigger a manual account rebuild.

• Submit a Ticket: Head over to GitHub Support.

This usually isn’t a permanent account bug — try this checklist:

1. Enable achievements
   Go to Settings → Profile and make sure Show Achievements on your profile is turned on.

2. Hard refresh / wait
   Achievement UI can lag. Wait a few minutes/hours, then hard-refresh the profile (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R).

3. Open achievements from profile
   Go to your profile page first, then click into Achievements. Opening a stale/bookmarked achievements URL can 404 temporarily.

4. Confirm the unlock was real
   If you only saw a toast/banner once, check whether the qualifying action actually completed (e.g. PR Merged, discussion answer Accepted, issue/PR closed for Quickdraw).

5. Private vs public visibility
   Achievements show on your profile when enabled; if the section is missing entirely after enabling + refresh, it’s often a temporary UI glitch — try another browser or logged-out vs logged-in view.
