Hi everyone,

I'm a student in india and my collage is list in GitHub but when I apply for student GitHub pack I'm getting rejected with no reason is there something there I'm missing ?

@epichostly If your college is on GitHub Education list but applications reject with no reason, these are the usual causes for India-based students:

1. Name alignment — profile, billing, and document names must match exactly.
2. Verified college email — add institute email under Settings → Emails and apply with it.
3. Document — current bonafide/enrollment certificate with name, college, and date.
4. Billing address — use college city/state when listed.
5. Cooldown — wait 24h between attempts after fixing details.

If still rejected instantly, contact https://support.github.com/ for manual Education review.

Hi! If your college is listed but your GitHub Student Developer Pack application is being rejected, it's usually because GitHub couldn't verify your student status. Make sure you're using your official college email (if available) and upload a clear, valid student ID or an official proof of enrollment that shows your name, institution, and current enrollment status. If everything looks correct and you're still being rejected, contact GitHub Support and ask them to review your application and explain the reason for the rejection.
