Treat this as an account-compromise incident and lock things down first, then restore the code.
Secure the account:

1. Change your GitHub password immediately, then in Settings > Password and authentication sign out of all other sessions.
2. Enable two-factor authentication if it is not already on.
3. Revoke anything you do not recognize:
   • Settings > Developer settings > Personal access tokens (revoke unknown tokens)
   • Settings > Applications (authorized OAuth apps and installed GitHub Apps)
   • Settings > SSH and GPG keys (remove unknown keys)
4. Review Settings > Security log to see the source of the force-pushes and any unfamiliar logins.
   Restore the code:

• If you still have a local clone with the correct history, you can overwrite the tampered history:

  git log            # confirm your local history is the good one
  git push --force origin main

Rotate any secrets, API keys, or passwords that were ever committed to the repo, since they should now be considered exposed.
