How can I submit digital proof of enrollment when verification only allows a webcam photo? #202152

Hi! 👋 If your proof of enrollment is only available as a digital document, photographing the document from another screen can often reduce the quality and make important details unreadable. A few things you can try:
Also, make sure your GitHub profile name matches your academic document exactly, as you have already done. If the system continues rejecting a valid document, the best option is usually to contact GitHub Education Support and explain that your institution only provides digital documents, since they can advise on accepted alternatives for your specific case. Hope you get verified soon! 🚀 |

If your enrollment proof is only available digitally, there isn't currently an option to upload the original PDF during verification. Try displaying the document at full size on a bright screen, avoid glare, and use good lighting to help the webcam capture a clear image. If the document still can't be read, contact GitHub Education Support and explain that your school only provides digital enrollment documents. |

Evidence and Image Capture
Hi everyone,
I am applying for GitHub Education as a student and my proof of enrollment is available only as a digital document.
During the verification process, I am required to capture the document using my webcam instead of uploading the original digital file. I have displayed the document clearly on another screen and attempted to photograph it multiple times, but the webcam image severely distorts and blurs the text. The school name, student name, and enrollment date are visible on the original document, but they become difficult or impossible to read in the captured image.
My previous application was rejected because the document details could not be verified. I have also corrected my GitHub profile and billing information so that my full legal name matches the document exactly.
Is there an approved method for submitting the original PDF or a clear image file instead of photographing a screen through the webcam? If not, has anyone successfully submitted a digital-only enrollment document using another accepted method?
I am not requesting that the community review or reinstate my individual application. I am looking for guidance on the correct submission method for digital-only academic documents.
