Don’t continue broadcasting to everyone that I have only one email address after dismissing the warning

Hi, some small security advice,

GitHub strongly suggesting that we have two email addresses to increase security backfires if there is no permanent way to dismiss that warning, otherwise it can broadcast to everyone during a conference, live streaming etc. that my profile only has one email address, where before people might not have known that.

Either provide tips on how people can obtain extra email addresses (it’s not really common for people to have two), or don’t have a recurring banner.

@silvenon this is a fair privacy callout. A security nudge that you can't permanently dismiss basically becomes a public signal: "this person only has one email," which is the opposite of subtle when you're screensharing.

I'd want either:

• a real dismiss that sticks (per device / account), or
• a quieter settings prompt instead of a banner that shows up in streams

+1 from me. Security tips shouldn't leak account shape to a room full of people.
