How to ask a question using template?

I was trying to open a couple of discussions in the "New to GitHub" category and got told:

Thank you for your interest in contributing to our community! We currently only accept discussions created through the GitHub UI using our provided discussion templates. Please re-submit your discussion by navigating to the appropriate category and using the template provided.

This discussion has been closed because it was not submitted through the expected format. If you believe this was a mistake, please reach out to the maintainers.

Not sure how I got here, but it would be good if that message contained the correct link and a description of how to do that. I am going to try this again and see if I can repost those other ones.

go to repo you wish to post
click discussion tab
click new dicussion
choose a category that you fit
click get started
Fill it out: The template will often have pre-filled text or prompts js Type your content into the spaces provided and hit Post discussion
and boom heres it
if occure an error we can discuss

i am not talking about a repo-discussion, I am talking about a community discussion specifically under "New to GitHub".
That discussion does not seem to have any kind of "template" associated with it.

Ensure you are navigating to the GitHub Community Discussions page directly next click new discussion after that select categorie carfuly bcz u gonna Pick "New to GitHub" from that list finaly Look for "Get started" bcz using that specific button is the template flow the bot is looking for and you nail it btw heres why it happen: The "UI Flow" Requirement: GitHub allows organizations to define categories that require a template, even if that template is essentially just a blank form with hidden metadata If you use a direct link to post or try to bypass the standard category selection screen the bot automatically flags and closes it because it didn't originate from the "Get Started" UI
Automation: The repo uses a bot to enforce this It isn't checking your actual content for quality it's checking the system metadata of the post to see if it was generated using their approved form
