Hi everyone,

I have applied for the GitHub Student Developer Pack twice now and successfully confirmed my verified student status. However, despite being fully approved, the benefits are not available yet.

What I've tried:

• Applying twice to ensure my student verification was properly refreshed.
• Clearing my browser cache and trying incognito mode.
• Logging out and back into both GitHub and Boot.dev.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Hey @rajkumar789! 👋

Since your GitHub status is already verified, the issue is on Boot.dev's side (usually an OAuth sync bug).

Try these two quick fixes:

1. Direct Login: Go straight to Boot.dev and use "Continue with GitHub" instead of clicking the dashboard link.
2. Ping their Discord (Fastest): GitHub support can't fix third-party links. Just message Boot.dev support on Discord with a screenshot of your GitHub student verification. They can manually apply the benefit to your account super fast.

Sounds like a sync delay between GitHub and Boot.dev rather than a verification problem. Try:

1. Wait 24–48 hours — partner benefits can lag behind GitHub's approval.
2. Re-link on Boot.dev's side — go to Boot.dev directly and check for a "Connect GitHub" option, don't rely only on GitHub's page.
3. Confirm matching accounts — make sure the GitHub username linked in Boot.dev is the exact one that got approved.
4. Check benefit status on your GitHub Education dashboard — see if Boot.dev shows "Pending" vs "Available."
5. Still stuck after 48hrs? Contact Boot.dev support directly (it's their integration) and mention your GitHub Pack is already approved.

Hi! If your GitHub Student Developer Pack application has been approved but the benefits aren't showing yet, it's often just a provisioning delay. Some benefits are activated immediately, while others can take anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days to become available.

Since you've already tried signing out, using an incognito window, and reapplying, I wouldn't recommend submitting additional applications, as that usually won't speed things up.

If it's been more than a few days since your approval and the benefits are still missing, the next step would be to contact GitHub Education Support so they can check the status of your Student Pack and confirm whether there are any issues with your account.
